Trip to the Zoo

We decided to take a trip to the zoo while we patiently waited for Daddy to come home from California. Wyatt had not really been to the zoo yet, so it was fun to see his reaction to the animals for the first time. He was very serious at first, he did not like the tiger making noise and he LOVED the fish. It was a great day at the zoo. All the animals were being fed and were active. The keepers were available to talk to the kids and answer questions. The weather even cooperated with us. It was a great day!

After Christmas we went to the Salish Lodge for breakfast with my family. The food was amazing and we had a very nice time just talking and relaxing together in the beautiful surroundings.

We were so fortunate to have most of my family visiting this year from California. The kids just loved having Nonie, Papa and Uncle Blake around. It meant they got a LOT of attention! We had so much fun with them while they were here. It was hard to see them go.

Wyatt's Baby Dedication

It was our privilege to dedicate Wyatt Raymond to the Lord on the Sunday after Christmas. My parents and brother were in town so we thought it would be perfect timing. Wyatt started getting a little squirmy waiting for our time in front so we had to bust out the treats to keep him happy. Daddy's car keys were a nice distraction too. Hey, whatever works. Emily was a proud sister and was very excited to be a part of this special day. She loves her brother SO much! He is a blessing to all of us.
