I know that it has been a REALLY long time since I have blogged anything new. We haven't had any real picture worthy experiences lately. We also have been busy with lots of miscellaneous things (VBS, swimming lessons, my back was out again etc). My brother, Brad, sent me these adorable pictures from my cousin Clayton and his beautiful new bride, Timari's, reception. We had such a wonderful time seeing everyone and catching up.

NEW EMILY THINGS: Emily's new thing is that she loves giving God credit for everything. She loves to pray every night before dinner and she prays for the trees and food and her family and church and ....... on and on and on. We were driving in the car a couple weeks ago and we saw a rainbow, so we started talking about it. A minute later she says to me, "Mommy, God made the rainbows. Thank you God for making rainbows." It just melted my heart! I love moments like these.

I got to go cherry picking in Yakima for the first time. I had so much fun. We picked so many cherries. As you can see I ate just about as many as I picked!

My mommy and I picked pie cherries and made a cherry pie.

Here is our finished product and it tasted SO yummy!!!

Here are a few more pictures from our trip. I just thought we would add a few more!

Auntie Dawnel and Ben
Well we made it home safely. We were gone for 2 1/2 weeks! We had a wonderful time, but are also glad to be home in our own beds. We decided to break up our trip home so we stopped in Yosemite for one night and then went on to Reno for a night and then headed home. Emily was a trooper in the car.

We had a blast in Yosemite. Daniel is so fun to go with because he is so knowledgeble about the park and knows his way around like the back of his hand! We stayed in a tent cabin in the High Country, went to a campfire talk, roasted marshmellows and went on a hike. We definitley want to go back soon.

I know that this is long overdue, but we are having such a wonderful time in Palm Springs my mommy keeps forgetting to post new pictures. I have become quite the swimmer! I can swim all the way across the pool by myself and am able to do 2 full somersaults in a row under water!!! I really have no fear and it makes my mommy a little nervous. I really love it when my daddy throws me really high in the air so I can do a flip. We have gone to the water park (I loved body surfing in the wave pool), the Living Dessert and of course Disneyland. It is extremely hot here so we definitely spend a lot of time in the pool or the A/C.

Since we haven't posted in a while here are LOTS of pictures!

Here we are at the Living Dessert. It was SO hot (113 degrees)!

We went to North West Trek today. I took my Great Grandma Connie and my Grandma Melody. We spent time in the Discovery Center where I concentrated really hard on learning to use scissors. We also went on the tram and looked at lots of animals. If you look closely you can see the Snowy owl in one of the pictures. NW Trek is one of my favorite places to visit.

Emily is really into creating. She will tell you exactly what each marking is in her drawings. She told me that this was a picture of flowers and a sun.

Here is Auntie Noel doing my hair and me riding my first Harley. My Papa loves this!

We decorated cookies at Emily's birthday party and we caught her sneaking in some sprinkles.

As you can see we have changed our blog template. So I wanted to put a few more pictures up of Emily. I also changed the requirement to be registered to post commments, so now anyone can post a comment.

Here are a few pictures of Emily at Disneyland and just just having fun. She had a great time at Disneyland with her Uncle Blake, Nonie and Papa.
Some friends of ours have created blogs for their kids in order to communicate with family and friends on a more consistent basis. I thought that this would be a fun thing to try too. So this is my test run. We will see how it goes. Enjoy!!!
