25 Days of Christmas...
(Warning...Lots of pictures!)

We have started lots of Christmas traditions in our home, one of them being the 25 days of Christmas Advent Calendar. I put 25 little brown paper packages along the stairs and each day there is something new. Sometimes it is a treat or a little gift, but most of the days it is something to do as a family. It has been one of the highlights for Emily this year. She loves it! It has been so much fun and cheap too! I have not been great about documenting all of it, but here are a few pictures of the things we have done.

SNOW!!!

We got our first snow of the year! And we got a LOT! We had about 12-13 inches. It just kept snowing and snowing. So, we had a very white Thanksgiving. School was delayed on Monday and then cancelled Tuesday and Wednesday, so we got an extra long weekend.

Wyatt's 2nd Birthday

Can you believe that Wyatt is turning 2?!?! We decided to give him a little party last weekend since his birthday is actually on Thanksgiving this year. We just had the family over for a small "Mickey Mouse Clubhouse" themed party. Wyatt was super happy. He really had no idea what the day held for him, and when he woke up from his nap, people were at the house to celebrate. What a surprise! He loved all of the fun!

Halloween 2010

This year we went trick-or-treating with friends at the mall again. Unfortunately everyone else had the same idea and it was a zoo!  So we left early and had dinner at Red Robin. The kids had a lot of fun. Emily decided to be a bride this year and Wyatt was a tiger.
