So I offically have a Pre-Kindergartener!!! Today Emily started her first day at pre-K. She was so excited to start school again and was so happy to see all of her friends. We are attending Celebration Friends again this year and we love it! It has such a warm and friendly atmosphere. It fits Emily so well. It is hard to believe that next year she will be starting kindergarten! Unbelieveable!!!
Emily has literally been counting down the months and days until the Big Puyallup Fair started. (She is just like her daddy! I am pretty sure he has been counting too.) So, it started on Friday and from 10am until 12 you could get in for free. So I decided to take her for a short trip before we left for the weekend. She was SO excited! She loves everything about the fair; the animals, Pioneer Farm, the rides, the food etc. etc. Here are a few pictures of our first trip to the fair. I know there will be several trips before the 2 weeks are over.

4D Ultrasound Pictures of Wyatt
Today we had our 4D ultrasound at Baby Pictures in Bellevue. We were able to get some really great shots of Wyatt. This was so nice since he was uncooperative in his first big ultrasound. He was so cute! He is also moving exactly how I thought he was. I keep feeling this funny pressure right under my ribs that feels just like he is bracing himself and stretching out. Sure enough we caught it on tape!!! He had his knees tucked up to his chest and then he straighten them out stiff and pushed up against my tummy! Hilarious! We were really pleased with the results. So here are a few sneek peeks at our precious little baby boy.
Wyatt with his arm on head
Hands under cheeks
Legs stretched straight out! (Feet are up in top right corner)
Small Smile :O)
Big yawn!
Frontal view, arm on knee
SENSOR! SENSOR! SENSOR!
Just the proof that he is definitely a boy!

24 weeks
Here I am at 24 weeks pregant with Wyatt Raymond. At this point he should be fully formed and starting to put on fat. He should be about 1 1/2 pounds and 13.5 inches long! He is really moving up a storm at this point. I enjoy watching my belly move and jerk, and I am able to start to identify likely body parts that are moving around in me. He is offically able to get under my ribs and jab now.
News and Updates...
As most of you know we have been in CA for a huge chunk of our summer. We were first down because my sister Dawnel got married. We then went on a 2 week vacation to Palm Springs and then came back down for a little over 2 weeks for my dad and brother's surgery, totaling about 5 1/2 weeks!!! So needless to say we have had a lot going on.
While we were gone.... Emily became a very good swimmer, went to Disneyland, spent the Fourth of July with my family and watched an amazing firework show, went to the Children's museum, became very familiar with UCLA Medical and the surrounding area, spent lots of quality time with Pop (aka Papa) and the rest of the family, and one of our fish had babies!!!
Here are a few pictures from our time in CA.

And the Name is....
It has been a week and a half since our ultrasound and it has just about killed me that we hadn't officially decided on a name. It has driven me crazy that he is referred to as "this baby" or "brother". So last night after I got Emily to bed and my dad situated, Daniel and I made a final decision on our baby's name. So his name is officially going to be....
Wyatt Raymond
I am a very happy Mama to finally have a name for our sweet baby boy!

It's A Boy!!!
Well, our ultrasound went very well today. Baby Boy Casey looks very healthy and is already quite the character. Within minutes we were able to get 2 good shots of his "boy parts." We were very happy to get a very clear confirmation and it was good we saw it early on because later he was not as cooperative. Baby Boy was a little wiggly. He had his arms criss-crossed over his faced most of the time and wouldn't flip over so the ultrasound tech could look at his spine and more of his heart. So, she had me go empty my bladder (Hallelujah!) and he instantly flipped. This was very good because she was able to get a few more important shots, however, the baby thought it was really great to get some added room! He started putting his knee in his mouth and then swung his legs over his head and was kicking his feet!!!! It was pretty funny! I wish we could have it on tape. Unfortunately, due to the wigglyness and contorted nature of our sweet baby boy, we were only able to get one good profile shot, which you see posted here.
Thanks for all of your prayers and keep them coming! Oh! Stay tuned for Baby Boy Casey's name. We are making some final decisions and then will share it with you.

19 1/2 weeks...
When we were pregnant with Emily we took pictures on the 1st day of each month to document how BIG my belly was getting and how quickly I was growing. (This is the ONLY time in my life I will be okay with this idea, right!?!?!) So, of course, we are doing it again for Baby #2, except that thanks to technology, you get to be in on it too! Here are a few pictures.
Also, we have our ultrasound at 10am on Wednesday morning. All of you can be praying for a healthy baby. As a fun side note, we will also get to learn of the sex of the baby, IF the baby cooperates. I have added a little poll on the side of the blog to vote on what you think the sex of the baby is. I didn't think of doing this earlier, so you only have until Wednesday to vote! Sorry!
Happy voting!

Apparently we need a swimming pool...
So I was out cleaning out the car the other day and Emily was just playing around in the yard, when the next thing I know she goes zipping past me in her bathing suit. Now mind you it was not particularly warm out only about 63 degrees. (To us Washingtonians that feels warm right now.)
Mommy: Emily, why do you have your bathing suit on?
Emily: I needed to wear it.
I didn't really stop to question her anymore and turned around for about another minute before deciding I should probably investigate further. Well, this is why Emily needed her bathing suit....

Baby Casey 11 weeks 3 days!
If you alreday haven't heard, WE ARE PREGNANT AGAIN!!! Praise the Lord!!! We are now 14 weeks 4 days and everything seems to be going very well. I am just starting to feel a little better from the "morning" sickness (which is really 12noon-until-I-go-to-bed sickness). Our due date is November 23rd. SO it looks like we are going to have a Thanksgiving baby.Thank you to everyone who has been praying for us the past 8 months and thank you for your continual support and prayers as we begin another journey into parenthood. God is good and we know He has a plan for us.
Lots of updates to come on Baby Casey and of course Emily!

Emily go get dressed....
One thing wonderful about an almost 4 year old is that they can dress themselves. One the other hand.....
...how can you possibly say "no" when they come out of their room dressed and so proud of what they chose?!?! Oh! and she likes to wear her white cowboy boots with all her outfits. Priceless!!!

"Tenaya"
So we have had Tenaya for almost a week, tomorrow, and we are loving every minute with her! She is the best dog! I am not sure how it is possible that there are dogs like this in the shelter! Luck for us, too bad for them.
So I have to brag a little because I have been working with Tenaya everyday a couple times a day to train her for the electric fence. On Tuesday in the hustle and bustle of getting to preschool somehow she was not put on her chain. (She has been on a 30 foot chain when we are gone because she hasn't learn the fence thing completely yet. When we are home it isn't a problem, she doesn't go anywhere. I just worry when we are gone.) SO, we get home from preschool (almost 4 hours later...we usually aren't gone this long) and when we look the front porch is empty! My heart sunk because I couldn't believe that she was gone. So I get out of the car and am thinking to myself "where do I start" and I decide to start with calling to her. Sure enough around the corner from the back yard comes Tenaya, happy as a lark and happy to see us. She never left!!!! I guess she caught on to the fence thing faster than she was supposed to, according to the training manual. So today she has been off her leash all day and is doing fabulously.
Also, Emily is just having an absolute blast with her! She constantly wants to be outside and will throw the ball over and over to her until the dog finally lays down with her tongue hanging to the ground! They also have developed a game where Emily runs with the tennis ball and Tenaya follows after her. Emily just laughs hysterically!

Introducing...
"Tenaya"
We have been noticing over the past several months how much Emily is obsessed with dogs. So, I started talking to Daniel about maybe getting one. :O) Then we went to Cali and all Emily wanted to do was play with Nonie and Papa's dogs and Uncle Brad and Aunt Sarah's dog, so we started thinking that maybe our time had come to add a dog to our family.
After several weeks of looking for the right dog (I swear I have looked at EVERY dog in WA and OR), we found our match.
We found Tenaya (previously known as "Kativa") at the Kent Animal Shelter and fell in love. She is about 3 years old and is a black lab. She was actually brought to the shelter because "she was too nice"! This is what the records said!!! Can you believe it?!?! She also had been taken by the Kent Police to be a drug sniffing dog, however they felt that she was too laid back! I love it!
We brought her home this afternoon and she is awesome! She is so sweet and very trusting. She allowed Daniel and I to give her a bath this evening and just complied without any complaints. She was hilarious when she got out of the bath. She was a new gal! Since she was wet I just couldn't let her go outside (right?), so bless my husband's heart, he let me keep her in as long as she stayed laying down. Sure enough she has done just that! She is very obedient. I am very impressed.
Bandit, however, is not so impressed. His poor little world has been rocked! He is not a fan and after a very close encounter with Tenaya, I think he is currently residing upstairs.
Needless to say, Emily is so happy. She was so excited and cute today. She didn't want to come inside to eat; she just wanted to play.
